Jobline accepts listings for job opportunities in academic, public, school, and special libraries.
Position announcements in Jobline reflect the specific requirements of the listing agency and may not reflect the opinions or the policies of the Virginia Library Association (VLA).
Cost
A fee of $150.00 is charged for each posting (price effective 1/1/2023, price effective for all libraries regardless of membership status 1/1/2026.)
How to Submit a Position Announcement to VLA Jobline
1. All postings should be sent via e-mail to [email protected]. Please attach a document containing the job information. 2. Contact and billing information should be included with the job listing. VLA will post the position and will email a link to the post and an invoice. Invoices may be paid by check or online with a credit card. Credit card payments can also be taken over the phone at (540) 324-9591. 3. Position announcements are published as submitted by the listing agency with little or no formatting. 4. Positions are listed in Jobline for 90 days or until the position’s published closing date. Postings will be removed after the specified time period unless the Executive Director or Communications Manager is notified in writing that the posting should be extended. 5. Position announcements can be removed at the request of the submitting agency by contacting [email protected].
An invoice will be emailed to you after your position is posted. It will include a link to pay the invoice online.
