The Librarians of Color Forum welcomes everyone to our author talk and event on Saturday, December 9 at 1:00pm at Stratford Hall. Dr. Kelley Fanto Deetz, author of Bound to the Fire: How Virginia’s Enslaved Cooks Helped Invent American Cuisine, will share details about her book along with many afternoon activities. There will be a book discussion, tour, cooking demonstration, African drumming, and more! There are 20 slots available.
