The preferred hiring range for this position is between $21.03 to $27.34 hourly ($43,742.40 - $56,897.20 annually). Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. This position is responsible for supervising Reference Services at a library location and upholding a strong public service orientation. The individual in this role should have a solid understanding of library practices, knowledge of reference resources (including online databases and other internet resources), and familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, providing reader's advisory and reference services, assisting patrons of all ages with the use of library resources and equipment, performing some circulation tasks and general library duties, assisting with administrative tasks, and may serve as the acting branch manager.
