2017 VLA Election Results

The Virginia Library Association is pleased to announce the newly-elected members of our Executive Committee.

  • Secretary: Jennifer Resor-Whicker, Radford University (2-year position)
  • ALA Councilor: Samantha Thomason, Central Rappahannock Regional Library (3-year position)

Todd, Jennifer and Samantha will assume their new responsibilities following the Friday afternoon Business Meeting (10/28) at the VLA Annual Conference in Hot Springs, VA. They will join the other members of the VLA Executive Committee:

  • Martha Hutzel, 2016 VLA President, Central Rappahannock Regional Library
  • M. Teresa Doherty, Second Vice President, Virginia Commonwealth University
